Okay...I've been really calling them the tiny terrorist. Here are the last of the photos that I will be posting as they will soon be going to new homes...sigh. I hate this part...it makes me sad because I miss them so.

Ruff & Tuff Scruff

Here's the latest little bruin to come out the Apple Dumpling workshop...SCRUFF. He's been a patient little bruin sitting here with parts laying about while his maker, ME, has been a bit distracted with other furry purry critters ;o).

SCRUFF will be making his debut at the Bear Artist Online Show on June 30th along with (hopefully) at least a couple other little dumplings so stay tuned. You'll find ALL his personal details then but here's just a little sampling to wet your taste buds.
SCRUFF has been created from the yummiest chocolate curly mohair and woolfelt pawpads. He's a wee handful of a bear standing at only 8 inches tall. He absolutely refused to wear any kind of adornment...he insisted it was too girly girly. He said...and I quote..."I'm a boy...I ain't wearin' no girl stuff." So...no girl stuff he got...he's just nekked.

Enjoy...and I'll see you on June 30th for the Show. Oh...don't worry, you'll see me before then too!!

The Furry Hooligans

The babies are sooooooo big. They are 5 weeks old now and on the go go go. I've tried at least a dozen times to get photos of them and well...unless you want to see blurry furry fuzzy photos this is the best I could do. They simply do NOT sit still for more than 2.5 seconds and that is just not long enough for me to get a picture...sorry folks...it ain't happenin'. Not only are they getting big and so very playful but they are very smart and have managed twice now to escape their enclosure in the garage. Poor Skippy was having a fit trying to get them back in one night. She reluctantly let me come to her rescue but she was RIGHT there watching every single move I made and then thoroughly cleaning them off as soon as I put them back....like I stink or something...how rude!!!

The kittens ALL have some shade of blue eyes...they have yet to change colors. They are just gorgeous. I keep expecting them to start changing to a brownish color like their mothers but not so far. I'm hoping they stay blue. :) I'm sure the apricot colored ones will as they are just a crystal blue like the water bottles you see pictured.

They are all litterbox trained and eating kitten food (that is when Skippy doesn't scarf it all down for herself...the piglet). Do you think she remembers when Aleta took her first litter and left her with none and she's blaming me for it? Do you, huh? I think so... I think she figures if she eats ALL the kitten food then they have to rely on her nourishment and therefore I can't give them away to strangers. I told you she was a smart little cookie. :) :)
I hope you enjoy the photos. My apologies that they are dark and but as you can see they are growing and playful and just plain a joy and bring so much laughter to my day. I want to keep them all...but that is ridiculous, don't you think?
Hugs,
