Boredom Struck!!!

Oh No...MOM, I'M BORED!!! Except, I'm the mom...so I played around with my blog. I've been suffering from a terrible case of bloggers block. I've really had nothing very blog worthy as of late. So today, I went and changed everything...not sure it was such a good idea...but I do that when I rearrange my furniture too. I have to let it sit awhile before I decide if I like it or not. I was smart enough to save my previous template before going and making a mess of things...just in case I really mucked it up. HA

Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!!!! Let me know what you think...I may still change it some more yet. Who knows...I'm in the mood for some changes...maybe a new haircut is in order too!!!

Birdhouse Paradise

....and what bird wouldn't find these cute little birdy houses paradise. Here are the finished birdhouses from my previous post "Construction Zone".

Danielle's "Beach House" & Alyssa's "Love Shack"

Matthew's (aka Buddy) "Covered Bridge" & Erin's "Night House"

The kids did a fantastic job and had a great time doing it. We put sealer on them so they can put them outside if they want to but I think they are planning on keeping them in their rooms for now. ;0)

Thanks for peeking!!!

Fresh Peach Juliet, Anyone?

Let me introduce you to the latest little dumpling....Peach Juliet. Waving Hello!!--->

Juliet stands tall at about 1o inches. Her fur is a lovely peach curly matted mohair that I just love. It reminds me of homemade peach icecream....ymmmmmmm. Juliet is wearing her sweet summer romper in seafoam green with tiny little daisies and muslin bloomers trimmed with peachy colored embroidery floss.

Juliet loves to hangout in the flowers, smelling all the posies, rosies and watching the butterflies, hummingbirds (if she sits really still, they thinks SHE's a flower too!!)
If you are interesting is adopting Peach Juliet, pop me an email...or if you just like to make a comment...that's wonderful too!!!

Construction Zone

It's been a busy week of birdhouse building. My housemate's nieces and nephew have been here and we decided to keep them busy building birdhouses. We made our own pattern, purchased fence boards and all the materials needed to complete birdhouses, precut all the boards prior to their arrival...here's the little builders busy at work...

We will let them paint, decorate and otherwise accessorize them once they return from their further adventures. They are from Arizona and stayed with us for a few days before heading north to Washington to visit other family and then will return after the 4th of July for a few more days before heading back home. I'll post photos of the completed projects once they are finished.

I confess...I have a "few" birdhouses of my own all ready to be put together. :0)
