A Note from Stinkerbell

Look what a big girl I've become!!! I'm still a little stinkpot though. I miss my brothers...these two "humans" are just not as much fun to wrestle with. They don't seem to understand the concept of jumping up their legs so I can sit on their shoulders (a girl's gotta see what's going on), pouncing at everything that moves or might move and biting and scratching is off limits. They think I'm a golden retriever (whatever that is) and throw these little round noisy things which are quite a lot of fun but then want me to bring them back to them...huh?

I love to go outside but they put this stupid pink thing around my neck with a big long thingy on it and won't let me go where I want so I just lay down and pout...hmpf. I don't like the big cats...the big white one is scary looking, the big fat black one hisses at me...and momma flips out when she sees me outside. The grass feels weird on my feet so I won't walk on it but I like to smell the flowers and chase the bugs...the "humans" won't let me eat them.

But, I do love to snuggle when I'm tired...which involves finding just the right comfy place to lay and streeeeeeeeetch out...and please don't move while I'm napping....it's rude...and I don't care if you have a cramp. :)

Kitty hugs,
Stinkerbell (aka Tigerlily)
P.S. Shantell says I still need to find a really good home that will love me unconditionally. I'm really a good little girl and darn cute too...just a little energenic (I am a kitten for pity sake).

Pixie Princess

This is the newest little dumpling from my workshop...PIXIE. She will be fluttering her way to Arizona to live with my housemate's niece, Danielle. Princess Daniella will be celebrating her Sweet 16 in a few days and has been a huge fan of my little dumplings since I started creating them. She's always asking about them and every time she visits wants to see what I've been making. So...as a surprise I made this little pink sugar sweet confection just for her. Danielle LOVES everything pink, glittery and fantasy...so what better than a sweet pink pixie to help her celebrate a milestone birthday like Sweet 16.

Happy Birthday Princess Danielle!!!

Is it 4'oclock yet?

Well, it IS at my house!!! All over my yard. I have beautiful 4'oclocks beginning to bloom in just about every flowerbed (thank you birds). I admit most of them are coming back from reseeding last year in one bed and a few I tranplanted but the rest I can only thank the little birdies for deciding where they really needed to be...and they are gorgeous in hot pink, baby pink and lemon yellow (maybe white...I can't quite tell yet).
Funny little story, these plants grew last year and I when they very first started growing I thought they were the sunflowers I had planted. Looked like them, they were where I planted the sunflower seeds...yay...happy sunflower day for me. Then the plants started looking a little funny...hmmmmm...I decided to watch them to see what would happen....soon they started blooming and were just lovely. NOONE could tell me what they were. I asked everyone I knew, even the nursery guy (although I did forget to take a cutting with me so my description could have described a variety of plants). :) :) Silly me.

So a couple weeks ago, my friend Sue came to visit her kitten she was adopting and decided to meander through my yard to look at all my flowers and said "oooooh, your 4'oclocks are looking wonderful"...and I said...."my what"...not knowing what she was looking at...and low and behold it was these flowers that I spend all last summer trying to figure out. She said they were a favorite of her mothers and her mom always had them in her yard. Sue's parents live not far from me and Sue recently moved to a new home. She was unable to take most of her garden with her and of course had no 4'oclock seeds. Somehow, I feel like maybe little birdies brought these to me for Sue...so when she was ready they'd be HERE for her. My dear friend, lost her mom a couple years ago. So...I have TONS of 4'oclocks with as many seeds as she wants when she wants them.
Hugs,
