See...I really do still know how to a make bear. It's like riding a bike!!!
Here's my new little guy, Felix. An 8 inch ragamuffin made from semi-sparse mohair and softly stuffed so he sits rather schlumpy (is that really a word?). Although I did manage to photograph him standing, he did not appreciate it at all. Felix has rather long arms (just like me...I refer to them as monkey arms) and short stubby little legs with no footpads on his furry little feet. I have carefully scissor sculpted around his wee muzzle to give him a cute little face and also highlighted his features with artist oils.
I hope you like Felix. He is looking for a new home and can be adopted for a small fee of $95 plus $6.95 shipping within the US. International buyers please contact me by email for a shipping quote. If you are interested in adopting Felix, please email me.
I'm planning on making more of these little bears in other colors, mohair types. I'm going to call this open edition my "Raga-Muffins"
Also, please bear with me as my camera is dying a slow painful death and I'm saving for a new digital SLR rather than just buying another point & shoot. I decided to buy what I really want rather than to "make do."
Have a great day!!!
Edited: I just noticed that blogger greatly reduced my picture so if you are interested in adoption, I would be happy to send you any of the individual photographs for preview. Oops!!!
