Score 1...for MOM!!

Taylor LOVES his quilt!!!! The fabric that I thought I was sneaking in on him was the first one he pointed out that he loved. Go figure!!! He couldn't tell me enough how much he loved it. It measures 65" x 72 " quilted & bound. The back is dark espresso brown batik looking flannel. Just scrumptious.

Idiot me forgot my camera when I gave it to him at brunch...where is my head these days. So you are stuck with a photo of it taken in the middle of my living room floor...OOPS!!! (sorry)

Spring...Are you here?

One minute I think it's here and then the next I think it was only a dream. The weather here in my little corner of the world has been very strange...fog, rain, sun, rain, maybe snow all in one day. I don't think my poor flowers know what to do...of course the weeds could care less...they think it's just a free for all. I'm gonna have my gardening gloves full once the rain actually does stop for more than twinkle of an eye.

Oh...the quilt...almost done...I'll be hand sewing binding until the wee hours of the morning in order to get it finished in time for the birthday boy. I'll post a photo of the completed project. I'm tickled with how it's turning out.
