Bulldog Football '08

Football season has started again already. Didn't we JUST win the state championship?

Here they come...all fired up and ready to play some football.

Opening kick off...#57 (bottom of the picture)...that one is mine. He plays on the defensive line. I pray every game he doesn't get beat up too bad. :O)

One game down....9 regular seasons to go...then it's the playoffs...then it's the state championship game. They gotta defend their title, donchta think? And, they are undefeated in the league TWO season in a row. P.S. We won the season opener!!!!

Five Days Old!!!

It was a quick picture while Skippy was having a snack this morning. Seven little bundles of soon to be purring goodness. They are looking chubby too. :O) I just love them!!!

Oops She Did It Again!!!

Our little orange lounger (see post) no longer has time for sunbathing. She's going to be busy for the next 8 weeks or so caring for her litter of babies she proudly delivered this afternoon. I have no idea how many or what color. For those of you who don't know "the story of Skippy", she's not really tame but not really wild either. She knows she belongs here and we will keep her and her babies safe...but it's a LOOK DON'T TOUCH for a while kind of thing for the first week or so. We respect her and she tolerates us.

As soon as "the queen" sneeks out to catch a bite to eat (okay there's no catching on her part...it's freely given...she even knocks on the door if it's not

waiting for her soon enough), I'll sneek a peek, take inventory, grab a photo if time allows and get back to you with the details.

Then in a few weeks, it's back to "catch me if you can." Damn cat. Why don't they make birth controls pills for cats....why or why?

Updated Aug. 22: I had the opportunity to take a quick sneeky peek. Momma decided 2 hours early that she wanted dinner and came knocking on the back (sliding glass) door. I even brought breakfast to her this morning...she couldn't just wait for dinner in bed too!!! Anyhoo...SEVEN. She has SEVEN little ones. It was just a big ol' pile of kitten goodness. I had to touch them in order to count them all which was not in my plans. Oh well...the Skipita knows I won't hurt them she'll just glare at me later. Glare away Skippy...I'm not afraid of you!!! LOL

The Three Annies

As promised...my three newest Annies...Mindy Lou, Lolli & Gretchen. They will be available as soon as I master my camera. GRRRRRRRRR! You would think that I could manage the AUTO functions at a minimum wouldn't you...well I can't. LOL After spending what felt like an hour (really only 10 minutes) figuring out the white balance function AGAIN, I still messed it up and all my pictures turned out icky. The one of the three girlies was by far the best so I'm posting it because I wanted to post something. I worked so hard dragging everything outside and then fighting with my assistant (the cat).

I'll add an update with an Etsy link when they are ready for adoption. Cross your crossable for tomorrow or Saturday at the latest. Got them crossed yet?
